I was like WOW …

Recently my mindfields was visited by a very unexpected person, but on the other hand very welcomed. Mike Moran, one of the speakers of the conference I have wrote about, stopped by to comment a bit on my post, therefore I would like to thank him for his visit and good state of spirit in which he shared his ideas about my post. At first I couldn’t actually believe it, and Mike, I have no clue about how you found out, but I’m glad you did.
Now, let’s go to more personal stuff, weekend was nice… Saturday was of course one of those long nights, on which I can say that I had enough fun, Sunday I was lazy … (no wonder). Today I mixed up a date for a meeting, which I had to have, but it’s in fact another time (no wonder … it’s me). It was good I realized soon enough to avoid influencing my schedule too bad.
I have a lot of things lately on my mind, things are starting to take a weird turn in my feelings, and I could say that they are probably going the right direction. I have waited for this for a long time now, but it’s just a bit confusing at this point, and hopefully I will be able to wake up and do things right (if I knew what right means). Listening to “A Perfect Circle – Passive” now, thanks to Fab, which was kind enough to share some music, and somehow that’s how I am feeling… passive. Is it good ? Is it bad ? Questions … what would humanity do without them?
I’m really wondering now, should I even go there? Will it be painful to open up that side of me, again? This time is new, it’s different … but it might be painful ? I don’t want to hurt anyone that’s for sure, but I have to take care of myself as well, and paradoxically enough if I choose not to hurt someone I might end up hurting me, and the other way around. One of the many strange twists in life. I can feel it opening up, and my body starts shivering … is it a good sign, or it’s just that they are not really giving any heating right now ?
In the Search Engine world, Google Yahoo and MSN are doing something very odd and rare to see in the IT world, they are working together!!! Noooo … Google did not buy everybody and making them work for them. That’s Microsoft tactics – hehe – (if you can’t outsmart them … buy them, if you can’t buy them, copy them). It seems that they are working to develop one of Googles projects, the XML site maps. That’s quite funny as all three are competitors in the same market, although G is the biggest and most popular of them all. According to some anonymous inside sources, MSN is probably going to shut down sometime soon, therefore everything is being moved to live.com . I find it a very interesting initiative to make things easier for webmasters and users generally speaking as this will improve the indexing performances and will (hopefully) help users find information easier and more important – relevant wise. I am soon going to create a reference guide to explain most abstract terms used in Search Engines as “spiders” and the above mentioned XML. I hope I can set it up automatically, so I can add terms on the fly to an existing database/post, but I will not set a date for this as I wouldn’t like to disappoint.
I am dealing with a lot of projects these days, school, work, and personal … all the way, hardly finding time to write here or to have a personal life, and it doesn’t sound as things are going to get better any time soon. I do appreciate the experience and knowledge I am getting from everything I do, but sometimes I just wished that the day would have 36 hours and the month had at least 40 days, but hey, you can’t really make the planet to spin slower can you? Actually, it seems to be spinning even faster these days (is it only me?).
